PROM!!!!

I remember my first prom like it was yesterday. A night of dressing up, dancing and making memories. Why is prom on my mind?? My oldest son is going to his first prom Saturday night. As I approach this monumental event I have many emotions. First......I cant believe my first born is a junior in high school and going to prom. How did this happen so fast?!?! Second.....Overwhelmed that he is growing up to be such a fine young man (wow.....that sounds like my mom). Third.......Sad that his father is not alive to see this day. I pray that he is as proud of his sons as I am and that he is proud of the way I have raised them. And lastly.....Happy that I have been truly blessed with wonderful sons and an absolutlely amazing husband to share these times with.
I hope that my children cherish these small moments in life. It may just be "only prom" right now, but 20-30 years from now it will be "My first prom" something to share with their children.
